Parkour Precision

Parkour Training : Precisions — powered by ExpertVillage.com

Here’s a new Parkour update.

Precisions are going to take lots of balancing skills and just straight out nerves and conquering of your fears. A lot of times these are done with ledges or with rails, so what you want is a good grippy shoe. Make sure that your shoes are not wet before you try to approach a rail. In doing a precision, what you are going to want to do is get mostly up on the balls of your feet before you jump. When you jump, you are going to band crouching not more than 90 degree angle with your knees and you are going to push away from the object. When you push away from the object, you want to get in a nice touch position in the air and spot your landing. When you are landing, you want to either land some what close to the back of your foot; somewhere in the middle of your foot almost and you are going to be propelling your arms backwards behind you. This is to stabilize you and to get you so that you can actually land and stay on the rail. While precisioning. you are going to try and do different types of things. You can do vault to precisions; one of those urban movements that I talked to you about earlier and what you are going to be doing is you are going to be actually trying to spot as much as you can to the actual mark that you are going to be landing on. A lot of times you are going to be vaulting a ledge or a rail and you are going to be landing on a ledge or a rail, curb or other things like that. When you are trying to get down, you can do something like a turn vault and you will be up on top of a rail or ledge and then you are going to do almost a 180 and re-grasp into a cat that I talked about earlier.

Parkour and Yamakasi

The difference of Parkour and Yamakazi:
first of all, Yamakazi and Parkour are different.

Parkour is an art of movement. Parkour focuses on "efficiency" of movement between point A to point B in an "efficient" way. Hence Parkour does not concentrate on becoming strong, but focuses more on efficient movement.

On the other hand, Yamakasi also another art of movement that has similarities with parkour. but does not concentrate on efficiency of movement but on becoming strong to overcome obstacle on the way, vice versa to parkour..

The difference really about parkour and Yamakasi is:
Yamakazi is moving from point A to point B combined with acrobatics(which is really fun).
While parkour is becoming efficient in your way of moving….

Parkour

PARKOUR guys??  Here’s a new sport for everyone! So what the hell is parkour?

Basically, parkour is moving from one point to another as fast as possible.  Which implies that, overcoming obstacles that are on your way. Traceurs are male parkour practitioners while traceuses are female.
Parkour is a set of principles combined with a way of moving within your environment and approaching obstacles of any kind, be they physical or mental.

These principles include:
- Seeking to improve ourselves through the practice of Parkour
- Using what you have gained from Parkour to help others, be it by helping someone learn Parkour themselves or to use your skills in a practical situation

- Seek progression in ourselves and to promote it in others

So who is the founder of parkour? Its David Belle.

What are the things needed to do parkour?? Well, all you need is a fit and physically trained body. Yes, FIT body! because parkour is no walk in the park, its a very dangerous sport. Bones can be broken, joints can be injured and it can cause DEATH.

Hope you like the info! and more power to parkour! HELP ME MAKE PKDV possible. Tnx!
