   Crafting a sound halfway between alternative rock and confessional singer/songwriter pop, the Utah-based band Meg & Dia began as a way for Meg and Dia Frampton to play music together. The Frampton sisters’ dad was a DJ and the girls were exposed to a wide range of music while they were growing up, and were encouraged to express themselves through music: Dia sang at county fairs, while Meg guitar by playing along with the radio. Though the sisters played in several bands throughout their teen years, they took a break from the music business when Meg went to college in Salt Lake City. By 2005, though, the Framptons were ready to try again, so Dia joined Meg in SLC. In search of a bigger sound, the pair recruited drummer Nicholas Price and guitarist Kenji Chan; with their lineup complete, they recorded their first album, Our Home Is Gone, which they self-released later that year. The album, and Meg & Dia’s live shows, caught the attention of Doghouse Records, which signed the band late in 2005 and put them in the studio with producers Stacy Jones and Bill Lefler to work on their first album for the label. Along with recording, Meg & Dia spent 2006 touring, including a stint on the Warped Tour’s MySpace stage that summer. Their first Doghouse release, the What Is It? A Fender Bender EP, also arrived that summer, with the full-length Something Real coming out shortly after. That fall, Chan left the band amicably, but the sisters soon found themselves talking with Warner Bros, and soon had signed to the major label. Something Real was then released in summer 2007, just in time for Meg & Dia’s dates on that year’s Warped Tour.

I was just listening to secondhand serenade, I think its pretty cool, rocks and has a nice rhythm. Ive heard of it from some of my friends, all of them really like the songs. The genre is a kind of emo with a splash of alternative and also acoustic, not really sure but thats what I think.

So lets talk more about the band. John Vesely, who it is said has the vocal range of an 80s hair band, and looks to rival Elvis, wandered through life, from band to band, finding that he could never settle with just one. Then in the summer of 2004, John decided to do it his own way and go solo.

The Best PARKOUR song ever!! This song is one of my top ranked music! I love the lyrics, lots of meaning. By the way, Rise Against is the band’s name.

This song really rocks!! Especially to all the Dota Addicts! The lyrics really rhyms. Its like when you hear the song, it makes you wanna play more DOTA. Some lines in the  lyrics really fits to players stories/experience in playing DOTA. I really like the bone clinks part, It really rhyms!
